One of my happy places is a good market and I’m lucky to have some great ones right on my doorstep.
Today I woke up and decided to hit up the Old Bus Depot Markets, which have a little bit of everything good in a market – craft, food, plants, clothing and great coffee (which sadly due to my reflux diet I had to pass on this morning).
A Sunday morning here is always well spent – and if you stay long enough there’s excellent lunch options in the dining area.
Food was off the menu for me today, but there was still plenty to do and see.
And new things to discover – like these fabulous teapot covers. They’re original artworks screen printed and handmade and I want every single one of them.
But I narrowed it down to these two, because spots…
And the mad hatter’s teapot!
I also mulled over whether or not to buy another Bean Plant. I gave one to my mum a few years ago and she loved it, but I the ones I’ve had haven’t done that well, so I decided to leave it for now.
Meanwhile the fudge stand was calling, but alas, my reflux action plan prohibits it so I had to say hi and goodbye.
And the same for the spice stand. See you next time when I’m reflux free.
